Sometimes I think that I work too much, but then I remember that you're not working if you're doing what you love, and then I work some more.

Academic and Professional

my face

Hi, my name is David Allen Foxworthy, and I am a transfer student at Rochester Institute of Technology pursuing a Masters degree in Video Game Design and Development through their BS/MS program. I am in my fourth year with a GPA of 3.91. Once I graduate I hope to work at a small studio doing occasional contract work with the freedom to openly develop and express myself on my own time. I'm not foreign to working with bigger studios though, there is a lot to learn from them and stability is a great thing to have in this industry.

Personal and Hobbies

I grew up near DC in Silver Spring Maryland, where I transferred from Rockville Community College. Growing up, I played far too many video games on my Nintendo 64 and Sony PlayStation. In middle school I started designing my own games, which led to the start of my programming career in freshman year of high school.

Now that I am in college, I spend most of my time working on various personal and/or assigned projects. Alongside other responsibilities such as being manager of Foxy Flavored Cookie, a 6 year old bi-weekly webcomic. I coordinate crossover pages with other webcomics, public face via Twitter and Reddit, and manage community resources and communication. However, I'm not all work, that would drive me crazy. During my down time I have a few hobbies that I deeply enjoy:

I picked up juggling from a wellness course, and bought my own RGB-LED balls for fun. Twisty Puzzles are on ongoing hobby with a steadily growing collection of Rubik's cubes and other variants. I often solve my puzzles between classes, to keep my mind active. Lastly, cooking has been a part of my life since the young age of 7. I had to help take care of my ill mother at the time, and I haven't stopped cooking since.

There is so much more to know about me, and hopefully you will get to know me better in the near future!
